This was something that was hard to write about for me. I was extremely surprised that something so sinister could of happened in a place of such peace. I know Gandhi would have been extremely angry with his people for doing such horrid things only because they were a different religion. Also, the fact that the Indian Government attacked on the special day for Sikhs when they knew it was the special day makes this story especially chilling.
I agree that it must have broken Gandhi's heart if he was alive at the time. He would probably fast until he died. It's horrid that people have the nerve to do something so horrid on a day that is worshipped by others. If that happened to me I know that I would be terribly angry and would want to retaliate. It shows that peace can be broken by little things.
